Desert
Town Hall, Indian Wells (January – April)
The Desert Town Hall of Indian Wells has become a cherished
tradition. Lectures that captivate and encourage conversation.
Former speakers have included greats like President
George Bush, General Colin Powell, Henry Kissinger,
Lady Margaret Thatcher, Larry king, William F. Buckley
Jr., and retired U. S. Army General Norman Schwarzkopf.

The series,
which annually earns growing accolades, is sponsored
in part by the City of Indian Wells, the Renaissance
Esmeralda Resort, and the Cabazon Band of Mission
Indians. Each lecture is held at 6 pm. At the Renaissance
Esmeralda Resort.

Pacific
Life Open Presented by the City of Indian Wells
(March)
Formerly
known as the Indian Wells Tennis Masters Series,
the Pacific Life Open is recognized worldwide
as one of the most prestigious tournaments on
the ATP and WTP Tours. Marquis players such
as Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras, Martina Hingis,
and Monica Seles participated in the 2002 series.

Luxurious
stadium suites are available on a limited basis,
allowing fans to enjoy the tournament in a private,
air-conditioned suite. Featured amenities include
indoor and outdoor seating, a full-time hostess,
closed circuit television, and optional catering.
Daily and Evening tickets remain on sale through
the event. However, ideal seating options are
available by purchasing tickets in advance. The
box office is located next to the Administration
offices at 78-200 Miles Avenue. |

Indian Wells Tennis Garden
Home of the internationally
televised Pacific Life Open, the new state-of-the-art
Indian Wells Tennis Garden opened in 2000. The
second largest tennis stadium in the United
States is located on 189 manicured acres of
elegant gardens and features a 16,000-seat stadium
with 44 spectacular stadium suites, luxurious
box and grandstand seats with unparalleled attention
to comfort and view. In addition, the Indian
Wells Tennis Garden has 11 sunken courts and
6 practice courts offering one-on-one and group
tennis instruction through its tennis club.
